Another self-explanatory piece, the inspired, wind-swept Captain destroying hearth and home to garner those last few nuggets of whatever it is these guys need so badly. The piece is not quite done. For the technically inclined, this marks my return to using a grey monochrome underpainting (see the woman's hands). This unifies the work as a whole, creating a deeper, richer tone throughout, and is particularily good for creating complex and subtle skin tones. None of which you can appreciate unless a) you buy the thing; or b) some kind hearted, perceptive gallery owner puts it on display.
