Monica Franz, MA
Educational Facilitator
,

I have had the privilege of facilitating the professional
development of numerous counsellors and therapists over the
many years of teaching I have had the pleasure to offer. It is my
belief and understanding that the inner life of the therapist,
undivided and authentic, is the true heart of the work. Thus, as a
facilitator, I seek to engage not only the theoretical dimensions
ofclinical practice with their pragmatic applications but, most
importantly, to inspire both creative thinking and critical inquiry
shaped by the integrity and inherent wisdom of each individual.
Teaching at its best invites the whole person into the process.
As such, I am committed to curiosity, provocative questions and
deep listening, open dialogue, a desire to bridge the personal
and the professional, and to conferring respect to student's
perspectives and experience, knowing that this is as valuable, if
not more, as any academic text or theoretical paradigm.

another mind than in the
one where they sprang
up. ~
