Thanksgiving Skate 2013
VFC sports took to the ice again on Oct 14th 2013. This time we rented a sheet of ice - so we had the whole rink to ourselves!
Skating was free for everyone (skate rentals not included), and a good time was had by all. We're look forward to more skating days in the near future!

Finn Funn Skating Day! 2012
On March 10th the Finlandia Sports Club hosted a skating day for the Finn Fun kids - students and parents alike donned their skates for an afternoon of skate-filled fun! There were lots of smiling faces, hardly any spills, and quite a few accomplished skaters! After many turns around the rink everyone packed up and headed back to the Scandinavian Centre for some pea soup to warm up an refuel after an afternoon of activity.

Sigge's Bus Trip - Callaghan Valley 2012
In early February we boarded one of Sigge's busses and headed up the Callaghan Valley for a day of cross country skiing. The weather was beautiful & the skiing was great - an amazing day to get out and enjoy the great outdoors and enjoy all the fabulous scenery and excellent trails that the Whistler Olympic Park has to offer.
