Getting there by transit

Bus Route #16 and #20
Get off on East Hastings at Princess Avenue. Go south along Princess Avenue for one block. Turn right. The Chinese Library is the second building to your right (beside St. Francis Xavier Church).

Bus Route #22
Get off at Gore and Keefer Street in Chinatown. Walk north (in the direction of East Hastings Street) along Gore Avenue for one block to East Pender Street. Turn right and walk two blocks along East Pender Street to the Chinese Library.

Skytrain
Get off at the Main Street - Science World Skytrain station. Transfer to bus #3, #8 or #19 going north along Main Street. Get off at the East Pender Street stop. Walk east along East Pender Street for three blocks to the Chinese Library.

Parking

There is street parking along Hastings Street (before 3:30 pm Monday to Friday) and Princess Avenue.
Please obey the parking signs on the street. The meter checkers patrol this neighbourhood regularly.
The Chinese Library lends out parking permits for membership holders to park in the spaces marked "Permit Parking".
