CRTC Community TV Policy Review

The CRTC is holding a hearing on Canada's community television policy framework: Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-661. The last major review was CRTC 2002-61 seven years ago. Deadline for submissions is February 1, 2010.

C.M.E.S. is addressing several key issues. The CRTC review will set community television policy for the next several years, particularly in managing the BDU levy of $116 million annually.
