The legs are not airbrushed, as some people might think. The smoothness derives from relentless tamping straight down with a dry brush, and in parts smoothed out with a fan brush. I hope the trees look good to you. I hate doing trees, can never make'em look right (see Lumber Jack for more tree terrors).
