If you are reporting e-mail or Usenet abuse, you need to send us the
full message header, which includes all hidden characters (see below for
how to), because the visible headers may be forged.

For VCN online users,

 . e-mail (Pine)

    - In Pine mail, go to Setup -> Config, then find and select
      "enable-full-header-cmd". Now open the actual message you want to
      report, move your cursor to the header area, and press "h" to
      toggle the full header display on. Press "f" to forward the
      message to the abuse desk, add your comments, then send.

 . news (Tin)

    - Open the message you want to report, move your cursor to the
      header area, and press the control key on your keyboard and the
      letter "h" at the same time, to toggle the full header display on.
      Press "m" to mail the message to the abuse desk, add your comments,
      then send.

Mindspring has an excellent page [2] describing how to cut & paste
the full e-mail header into a message using some popular Windows
and Mac email programs. SpamCop describes [3] the procedure for many
others.

Some other good resources are How To Complain To The Spammer's
Provider [4] and Elsop's Anti-Spam Page [5].
