LASFS (The Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society), "founded Oct. 27, 1934, is the world’s oldest continuously active science-fiction and fantasy club. Comprised of both old and young fans alike, it has grown from its humble beginnings as a tiny literary discussion club into a lively social group of science fiction and fantasy fandom readers, writers, cosplayers and in some instances, professionals in the literary, movie and television industries. Many of our members both run and volunteer at our annual West Coast Science Fantasy Conference (Westercon) and Loscon – the Los Angeles Regional Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention." NESFA (the New England Science Fiction Association) "was founded in 1967 by fans who wanted to do things in addition to socializing. What we do has changed over time, most notably with the growth of NESFA Press, but the club is still organized on that principle. NESFA has nearly 400 members, mostly General members from all over the world. Anyone who's interested can join as a General member (dues are $24 per year); Voting Membership may be offered to members who demonstrate a willingness to help further the goals of NESFA." NWSFS Seattle (the Northwest Science Fiction Society) is both a local and regional networking resource, for fen both near and far to keep in touch with one another and stay informed on science-fiction happenings in the area.
In addition to this, NWSFS is a way for fen to try new restaurants and occasionally see museum exhibits and visit all sorts of cool places that they may have always wanted to and have never had the time to do — all in the company of close friends!

Oregon Science Fiction Conventions, Inc. (OSFCI) is a group of fans in Portland, Oregon that sponsors science fiction conventions and related events. OSFCI and all OSFCI events are entirely volunteer-run, and any surpluses are donated to recognized non-profit organizations. OSFCI itself is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation.
Membership in OSFCI is open to anyone who has worked at the committee level for at least two OSFCI events in the last four years." See https://osfci.org/
