Education

  • providing information on World Federalist basics and communicating World Federalism.
  • supplying copies of our quarterly newsletter 'Mondial' for distribution at meetings and events.
  • giving access to background papers papers related to our major national program objectives (International Criminal Court, Democratizing Global Governance, UN Peace Operations/R2P, and UN Reform).
  • offering lists of relevant educational resources: books & bookstores, videos, websites, paraphernalia.
  • publishing notices and commentary on current events through various listservs and bulletin boards.

    Promotion

  • making available WFM-C promotional flyers and helping you adapt them to local needs.
  • offering space on the National Website to promote your local events and display general contact information for your branch.
  • helping you develop a local media list.
  • helping you set up e-mail lists for various purposes i.e. notices to media, notices to members/general public.
  • providing membership labels for mailings to members.
  • connecting you to local University and Community College campuses through the Youth Outreach Project.
  • providing sample branch newsletters.

    Political Action
  • forming (or link you) to cross-country member networks engaged in specific research or action projects: eco-footprint analysis, water resources, declaration of human responsibilities, NATO peacekeeping, personal and branch histories etc.
  • sending out action alerts for meetings/members.  Action alerts will originate from either individual branches, national office or the campus outreach project.
  • providing political letter-writing tips, sample letters and media addresses.
  • supplying contact addresses of politicians and tips for a meeting with your MP.
  • giving background information on procedures for bringing forward resolutions to the General Members Meeting.

    Administration

  • providing role descriptions for branch executive positions and / or information for Issue Action Groups.
  • supplying stationery and supplies (letterheads, envelopes, etc.)
  • supplying various forms and checklists  for promotion and participation.
  • tracking names, residence, phone and e-mail addresses of member/supporters in your branch.
  • helping you set up a dedicated listserv to facilitate communication among your board/planning group. 
  • providing information on the merits and procedures for incorporation of your branch.

    Financial

  • providing financial support to official branches through a funding formula based on membership dues received by National Office.
  • if monies are spent on educational activities and receipts will be kept, it may be possible to provide charitable receipts for your local fundraising efforts. Please inquire in advance for details.
  • for new branches, small amounts of start-up seed funds may be available.
