PDU Claims for Full Day

Seminar participants can claim seven PDUs for the day. In addition to the time they spend as participants, Presenters and Workshop Leaders can claim a PDU for each hour spent performing those roles, including preparation time

This is a full-day seminar. If you register it is understood that you plan to attend for the entire day. If you leave early it is a discourtesy to your fellow professionals. Another PMP from the wait-list has been denied the opportunity to attend, and the presenters at the end of the day are slighted.

Program Planning for 2013 - Opportunities for Presenters and Workshop Leaders

At the November 21 Seminar, a workshop session will be devoted to planning a program of professional development events for 2013. As input to the workshop, we would like to identify in advance a slate of potential presenters, workshop leaders, and management team volunteers. Please advise us of your availability and willingness to serve. Contact the workshop leader Walter Wawruck, PMP [email protected]

The Society is based on the principle that we learn from each other, and each of us has valuable experience to share, or facilitation and management skills to contribute.

Each PMP is a candidate for any of the roles on a seminar.

Unless a volunteer Project Manager steps forward from the ranks of the local PMPs, a seminar does not proceed.

In addition to technical presenters, workshop leaders, and the Project Manager, these are the roles on the management team for each seminar. Additional volunteers are invited for all. One person may be asked to do two or more jobs:
  • Technical Program
  • Binder Co-ordination
  • Facilities and Food
  • Registration and Collection
  • Evaluation Report
