Each year more than 6 million Canadians celebrate this worldwide event. Join us on Saturday April 26th at Everett Crowley Park and count yourself in. This annual event has become a community celebration offering free fun for the whole family. Activities will commence 11:00 am and will run to 4:00 pm rain or shine.
Tree planting starts at 11:00 am. Last year, volunteers planted more than 1,000 native trees and shrubs. Restocking the forest with natural species ensures a supply of natural food for birds and wildlife. Our aim is to foster a healthier forest and a healthier planet.

The main stage entertainment will include the exciting Bhangra Dancers from South Asian Art, shaman-drummer Carol Weaver and Los Memories with off the floor pop-rock singer Duane Stanley.

Exhibitors include Grow Natural, City Farmer, Water Works, S.O.U.L, Gourmet Gardener, Master Gardeners, Nature Vancouver, Young Naturalists, Power Smart, and Eco Safe Biodegradable Plastics. Bobs and Lolo will be the children's featured entertainers and Manfred's Meadow has been set aside as a special Kids Place offering face painting games, activities, and stories.
