3s and 4s Program
Our 3s and 4s programs are quite similar in structure and scope. Our day typically begins with circle time and our song. Then our children explore through free play, reconvene for a second circle time, have snack and then more play.
Free Play
During free play children explore various facets of learning through a free art table; adult-guided art; imaginative play and dress-up; cozy reading corner, science table, play dough, painting and drawing, puzzles and games, blocks and trains, water table and puppet theater.
Second Circle Time
Monthly themes guide lively discussions with the teachers about varied topics like safety, seasons, colours, weather, families, our body, holidays and health.
Snack Time
At snack we emphasize hygiene, manners and nutrition.
Outdoor Play
Our children have full use of Dunbar Memorial Parks playground (swings, slides and climbing equipment) and the surrounding fields. On inclement days, the preschool has spacious room to set up climbing equipment, slides and other sports equipment.

Snack Time
Snack time consists of a healthy snack - usually fruits, vegetables and grains.
Circle Time
The day is ended with a circle time where there are songs and stories. Seasonal books and songs are included as well.
