A bright, creative and dedicated early childcare professional, Wendi brings a diversified and solid set of experience to the classroom, and most importantly, a passion for PPP play-based learning, the cornerstone of DMPPP.

"I have such admiration for families so involved in their children's early childhood education," said Wendi. "To be chosen as DMPPP’s head teacher is truly an honour and a privilege for me. Knowing that I can help and make a positive difference in each one of these little people’s lives while building a supportive relationship with their parents gives me a profound sense of joy and gratification. I couldn’t imagine a job that would reward me with more. I am excited to help build a fun and challenging program for DMPPP’s children."

Prior to joining DMPPP, Wendi held a variety of positions at several different early childhood facilities, including providing respite to families with children living in foster care, supervising an out of school care program and teaching PPP art programs. She also launched a preschool/kinder care program from the ground up and was head teacher at Bayview PPP, making her acutely aware of the uniqueness of a PPP preschool such as DMPPP.

Coupled with her firm commitment to and experience in theatre arts, creative arts and music, Wendi will bring new and exciting elements to DMPPP that will provide further opportunities for our children to learn and grow through dynamic play. She is a great fit for DMPPP, its children and parents. DMPPP is lucky to have such an amazing talent like Wendi to help provide the ideal free-play environment for our children to learn.
