This is about the agony of mental disease or disorder. A nice looking person (sorry for the cliche) is set against a classical backdrop (rationality, nobility of the intellect) but is holding a copper mirror (mind, soul) in which is reflected the corroded remains of an ancient dagger.  (Dagger of the mind--is that Shakespeare?).  In the blue borders, various ancient cutting and rending elements, hunting tools, bird skeleton, and so on. The brown marks on her body are meant to be dirt., and the eyes whited out as if blind, but...don't know if it really comes across.

One of those pieces with which I stand back and think...hmm....hmm....almost, but....hmm....hmm.....
