Undergraduate Academic Assistant/Departmental Webmaster Performed data cleaning and verification tasks on large databases. Acted as liaison for department in obtaining databases. Managed department's World Wide Web site.

May-September 1998	Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, AirCare Program, Burnaby, B.C. Research Assistant Created SAS and Visual Basic programs to produce Repair Effectiveness Index (REI) reports for repair technicians and facilities. Refined existing SAS programs which perform quarterly REI statistical analyses. Provided statistical analysis on research centre activities and repair technician indices. Provided statistical data analysis for management, operational, and research projects. Co-authored report on fuel cap emissions.

1996 Spring and Summer	Province of British Columbia, Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks Water Quality Branch, Victoria, B.C. Co-op Work Placement I and II. Authored eight "State of Water Quality" reports, providing rapid assessments of major rivers in British Columbia. Converted reports into Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) for placement on Ministry's World Wide Web site. Assisted with computer troubleshooting and Macintosh-to-PC conversion.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE:

February 2010	2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver, B.C. Team Leader, Event Services Managed a group of up to 14 hosts responsible for checking credentials within the Vancouver Olympic Village. Provided support, information and encouragement to hosts and resolved issues when required.

August 2008	2008 CN Canadian Women's Open, Ottawa, Ont. Walking Scorer, Pro-Am Caddie Recorded unofficial scores and statistics during championship play. Caddied during Wednesday pro-am tournament. Wrote a daily fan diary for the LPGA.com web site.

December 2005 - January 2006	2006 IIHF World Junior Championship, Vancouver, B.C. Guest Host, Food Services Provided snacks and meals to volunteers, set up and maintained the volunteer lounge and stocked food supplies. Transported food to event venues.

July 1992 - April 1999	British Columbia's Children's Hospital, Vancouver, B.C. Child Life/Foundation Office Assistant Attended to and provided support for patients and families, assisted with individual care in wards, operated cash register in gift shop and performed general office duties.

ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS:

I enjoy playing sports, particularly volleyball, hockey and golf. Also, I have been running 10K races since 1992 and am a member of the Granite Curling Club of West Ottawa.

I support the BC Children's Hospital Foundation and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
