LETTERS PROJECT
CORRESPONDENCE BY MEMBERS OF WFM-C TO MEDIA, JOURNALISTS, AND POLITICIANS

This site displays personal letters and opinion pieces by WFM-C members organized by topic.
(WFM-C also prepares form letters to promote current campaigns. These are listed on our 'action letters' site at http://www.vcn.bc.ca/wfcvb/lobby.html).

PURPOSE
    - to support letter-writers with background info and stats, tips, addresses, and encouragement.
    - to effect social change
    - to showcase our literary talents and collective wisdom

INSTRUCTIONS
    - Visitors can read letters and background information according to topic by using menu at left.
    - Any WFM-C member can be a letter-writer and can post their handiwork. For detailed instructions on posting your letter, click HERE.
    - All letters posted are automatically distributed to the Letters Project listserv at [email protected]. The listserv also serves as a discussion forum on successful letter-writing. If you would like to receive copies of new letter postings, pose questions, or give others feedback, please join by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

DISCLAIMER
    - Although these letters may reflect WFM-C themes, they do not necessarily reflect WFM-C official policy. Letter-writers assume responsibility for their own letters, their own viewpoints and their relevance to the interests of other readers .

SUPPORT
    - tips on letter-writing and media addresses
    - framing the message
    - links to various stats
    - discussion listserv - please join by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

ADOPT A NEWSPAPER
    - If you regularly read a local, national, or international paper and have access to it electronically, please forward any provocative article to the letters project listserv ([email protected]) so that others can respond to it. Our chances of getting letters published increase when editors have a larger choice of both letters and authors.

MEDIA E-MAIL ADDRESSES
    - Another way you can participate is to collect the names (and e-mail addresses if possible) of journalists who write on foreign affairs and global issues. Send this info to [email protected] and we will add the names to our media list for future WFM-C press releases.

BIOS
    - Letter-writers are encouraged to send in their 1 page bio 'How and why I became a World Federalist' for posting at the WFM-C Personal Histories page at http://www.vcn.bc.ca/wfcvb/brhisintro.html.
