NEW HOPE FOR DARFURThe UN is poised to give the people of Darfur the help they desperately need. In the coming weeks, possibly as soon as April 30, the UN Security Council will take decisions regarding the scope of the UN peace operation to bolster the African Union (AU) force already in Darfur, Sudan. The UN needs governments like Canada to respond positively to calls for military and civilian contingents to stop crimes against humanity in Darfur.
Canada can and must do more. Please act now.
Write to Prime Minister Harper and Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Mackay and forward this action alert to other concerned Canadians.
