The leadership you and the Liberal Party have shown on the Kyoto Accord

is commendable and I encourage you to continue your efforts at drafting a

detailed and meaningful implementation plan.

I believe a climate action plan, rather than putting the economy at risk,

would stimulate hi-tech and construction industries, create jobs,

reduce health-care costs from air pollution and help protect our ecosystems

for future generations.
