MY IMPRESSION
Joanna Duong

Tuoi Nguyen and Toan Hoang
First of all, I would like to express great thanks to Tuoi Nguyen and Luong Ho who were the “key persons” in organizing V-Net Christmas Party this year. They worked hard on planning, booking the restaurant, ordering dishes, setting up the sound system (belonging to Luong), decorating the party room, hosting the entire event along with issuing and distributing tickets (with other colleagues). They did a wonderful job so we are due to give them applause.

Special thanks to Chi Kim Ton for preparing the door prizes (despite the fact that she was unable to attend the event), Chi Kim Dang for buying supplies, collecting tickets and arranging flower brooches, and Chi Huong Le for bringing delicious fruity desserts.

Furthermore, everyone’s eager participation during the night in my opinion was paramount. Le Chu performed his moving folk song and

the hilarious comedians Le and Dinh Trinh brought laughter to the audience with their dance and jokes. The “infamous singers” Michelle, Thoa, Tuoi, Tina, Bich Thuy and her husband from the middle table entertained excellently with their non-practiced songs. Anh Cho showed his talent with his harmonica through a ravishingly romantic song. Tina proved amazingly attractive with her favorite song and Ngoc Tran was justly professional in her German song (with our German guest, Dr. Florian Braig enjoying it immensely). Finally, Luong Ho played his guitar with flare and style.

Bravo to all Vietnamese-speaking counselors and staff from ISS. You were pretty cool.
