Note for travelers from the U.S.A. As of June 1, 2009, crossing the Canada/US border will require a passport or other form of secure ID. This will apply to everyone whether traveling by air, bus, train, ship or car.
From U.S.A. North on I-5 exit Pacific Highway Border Crossing - Truck Customs - (2nd exit in Blaine) and follow Highway 15 (176 St.) due N 12.5 miles to Highway 1. Do not turn onto Highway 1A (Fraser Highway). Cross the freeway and turn W toward Vancouver. Take the next exit (exit 50 -104 Ave. W.). The hotel is on your right across the street from the large Canadian flag.
Alternate route from U.S.A. For an alternate route from I-5 in Bellingham, turn N (right) off I-5 at Exit 256A (Meridian St.) and go straight north on Meridian 15 miles to the Canadian border crossing at Aldergrove. Continue straight north a further 7 miles until you intersect Highway 1 - the freeway. Do not turn onto Highway 1A (Fraser Highway). Cross the freeway and turn W toward Vancouver. Take Exit 50 -104 Ave. W. The border crossing at Aldergrove is usually not nearly as busy as the ones in Blaine, and the driving distance is about the same.
From Vancouver Island or Vancouver International Airport Head South on Highway 99 (the freeway to Seattle) and exit at Highway 10. Follow Highway 10 to 176th Street (Highway 15). Turn left on 176th Street and go due N to Highway 1. Turn W onto Highway 1 (toward Vancouver) and take the next exit (exit 50 -104 Ave.W.). The hotel is on your right across the street from the large Canadian flag. There are shorter routes, but they all involve driving in heavy traffic with lots more traffic lights.
