The Callers

Kathy Anderson

Internationally known and sought after, Ohio's Kathy Anderson is a legend. She has been calling and writing dances since 1982. A favourite caller for dance camps all over the world, her smooth vocal delivery, enthusiasm and wit combined with her repertoire of flowing contras and high-energy squares always guarantee a fun and exhilarating dance experience!

Adina Gordon

A contra and square dance caller based in Vermont and North Carolina, Adina Gordon calls to the delight of dancers coast to coast. Relaxed and smooth, she's known for her concise teaching, engaging dances, and infectious joy. Her reassuring stage presence and mellow voice will have you floating off to dance ecstasy in no time.

The Bands

Out of the Wood

Hailing from Sand Point, Idaho, this band has made dancers' feet happy in communities all over western Canada and USA. Out of the Wood plays a variety of tunes from Celtic, New England, Quebecois, and Old Time music styles. Kathy, Vickie and Pat have worked hard to earn their reputation as a dancer's band. Together the band excites and expands the dancers' musical experience....music and dance become one!

Out of the Wood includes:
Vickie Marron - piano
Pat Marron - mandolin, fiddle, banjo, & percussion
Kathy Bowman - fiddle

Riffraff

Olympia, Washington's multi-fiddle band plays fast-paced, melodically-solid dance music. Fresh, new material is constantly added to their repertoire. They take joy in watching the dancers and playing to the structure of every dance.

Riffraff includes:
Lindon Toney - lead fiddle & band leader
Evo Toney - fiddle
Jim Erlandson - mandolin
Warren Argo - guitar
& guest fiddler Josie Sokoloff-Toney
