Volunteer with your CommunityNet!
The Vancouver Community Network owns and operates a free, publicly accessible, non-commercial computer utility in the Lower Mainland of B.C. which provides a public space on the internet.

Volunteers play a vital role in making the Internet and VCN's online community accessible and community-driven. If you're interested in playing an active part in helping the Vancouver Community Network achieve our Mission and Goals, please have a look around our website. However, due to a recent surge in volunteer applications, we are not accepting new ones at this time. Check back here in a few weeks for an update.

VCN has many people interested in our volunteer opportunities. We welcome everyone, especially those who are interested in helping provide universal public access to a non-commercial, community space online. Have a look at this information, and what we're looking for. If you want to be a part of it all, and you fit our requirements, fill out the application with as much detail as possible, and we'll be in touch!

If we're not the right fit, many other organizations post their needs on Volunteer Centre websites.

(Note that the Volunteer Information Sessions offered to all prospective volunteers are no longer being held. If you would like more information about what VCN is all about, feel free to come our public First Time User Introduction to VCN and the Internet any Monday at 11:00am.)
