VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTION
Data Entry Clerk�
Objective: �� To maintain VCN�s contact and other databases
Training/Support to be provided by: � Office Co-ordinator
Duties:
Essential Qualifications:
- Ensure contact records are up-to-date, accurate and complete
- Research online and print directories for community groups in need of VCN services
- Strong and accurate data entry and keyboarding skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to search the World Wide Web for online community information
- Knowledge of VCN and non-profit organizations
- Ability to meet the time commitment outlined below
Time Commitment Required:
- At least 3 months
- 4 hours per week, from 8:30 � 12:30 or 12:30 � 4:30
- Additional time to attend orientation, training and meetings and read online information
Location: VCN office, 411 Dunsmuir Street
