This web site is to complement the Childcare Support Access Project taking place in Vancouver and British Columbia during 2001. The site will remain as a permanent resource.

This project is the result of a partnership between United Way of the Lower Mainland through their Community Innovations program, Vancouver Community Network and the Westcoast Child Care Resources Society.

In response to a need for more information and collaboration, families, caregivers, childcare workers will use the Internet to complement other media for sharing resources, defining issues and creating solutions. Over one year, this project will establish wide Internet access for the childcare community through a growing network of community access points. A job posting service will be implemented for those seeking employment or employees and a newsletter production and distribution system will complement the existing service to the childcare community.
