2006 Uniforms – LAST CHANCE!

Final fittings and orders for the 2006 Team Vancouver uniform take place Sunday, April 9th and Wednesday, April 12th.

Any and all British Columbia participants of Chicago’s Gay Games VII and Montreal’s 1st World Outgames are reminded to order their Team Vancouver uniform without delay. The games experience is that much more memorable as part of the team.

Sunday’s fittings are at The Oasis Pub, 1240 Thurlow Street, on the corner of Davie, from 5L00 pm to 7:00 pm. Stay on to enjoy Bill Monroe’s Shake Your Can FUNdraiser featuring Sibel Thrasher and Candus Churchill. This monthly event helps to subsidize the cost of your uniform. Please support the artists who support the team.

Wednesday’s fittings are also at The Oasis Pub in conjunction with the Vancouver Tennis Association Registration from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

If you can’t make the fittings, you can order online. Go to www.teamvancouver.net and click on Get A Uniform. The designs, sizing charts and order forms are all online.

Make sure your team mates and friends know that the deadline for ordering is April12. Don’t be left out. Be a part of the team.

Bursary Application Deadline – May 15th.

Team Vancouver Athletics Society, in conjunction with The Luxy Bistro and Sound and Furies Productions, announces a bursary fund for individuals who would find it difficult, if not impossible, to participate in Gay Games VII or the 1st World Outgames without financial assistance.

Shake Your Can

Don’t forget to join Bill Monroe this Sunday for Shake Your Can at The Oasis Pub, 1240 Thurlow Street. 7:00 pm sharp.

Bill’s guests are international sensation Sibel Thrasher and Vancouver’s Gospel favourite Candus Churchill. The Oasis Pub’s great food, a TeamVantini and Vancouver’s top entertainers make for an unforgettable evening. Proceeds support the Team Vancouver uniform fund.
