A
US corporation has won approval to build a large gas-fired powerplant
in Sumas, Wash. The plan calls for the use of Canadian natural gas
to generate electricity for markets in the western USA. Unless Canadians
block the plan, the door will be opened to other polluting power plants
waiting to be built along BC's border. |
