How to become a member

Spectrum is published by the Society Promoting Environmental Conservation, a charitable,non-profit organization established in 1969. SPEC is dedicated to environmental protection and to the establishment of a conserver society. SPEC operates the Environmental Information Centre at 2150 Maple Street near 6th Avenue in Vancouver. This energy-efficient building features an extensive environmental library as well as energy conservation, recycling and composting information, displays and demonstrations. It is open to the public 10 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday except for statutory holidays.
