About 2150 Maple St.

The building at 2150 Maple St. acts as an office for several non-profit groups, an information centre, and a community meeting space. Located at the corner of 6th and Maple (2 blocks West of Burrard St.) it can be conveniently accessed by a number of bus routes (#4, #7, #9, #10, #16). Limited parking is also available, as are bike racks. In the heart of Kitsilano, the building is located adjacent to community gardens and also has a Compost Demonstration Garden run by City Farmer. We are close to shops and restaurants on 4th and 10th Ave. and are only a short distance from downtown Vancouver.

Meeting Room :

The meeting room is approximately 22ft by 30ft and can seat 60-70 persons theatre-style, and 50 meeting-style. Tables and chairs are provided as are cups/plates, access to our kitchen and washroom facilites, and our coffee maker/kettle/teapots etc. Also available for use (upon request) are a TV/VCR, slide projector, and overhead projector.

The meeting and board rooms can only be used by groups or individuals not seeking to make a profit from the meeting or activity held in the space.

Cost: $75 full day, $50 half day or evening

Availability: Rooms are available 7 days a week.

Board Room :

The Board room is meant for smaller meetings, it measures 10ft by 7ft and seats 12 around a large table. Chairs are provided as are cups/plates, access to our kitchen and washroom facilites, and our coffee maker/kettle/teapots etc. Also available for use (upon request) are a TV/VCR, slide projector, and overhead projector.

The meeting and board rooms can only be used by groups or individuals not seeking to make a profit from the meeting or activity held in the space.

Building Upgrades:

Thanks to the generous funding of the Vancouver Foundation this summer we will be renovating our meeting space. This will include painting, refinishing of the floors, as well as purchasing new tables and chairs. We are striving to acheive these upgrades in an environmentally sound manner and hope that the result will be a more attractive and comfortable meeting space for the community.
