The society intends to foster communication between neighbourhood associations in the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley with a view to coordinating environmentally responsible development. We will use this space to post notices of local meetings and workshops

Our Aim:

  • To ensure highest possible standards apply to development in Silver Valley
  • To maintain and enhance fish and wildlife values in the area
  • To encourage the maximum possible public input into all phases of Silver Valley's future
  • To hold our elected officials and their decisions with respect to Silver Valley, accountable to the voters of Maple Ridge
  • To educate and inform the community and Council about new thinking and research about development issues
To foster communications between other resident's associations, locally, provincially and federally
  • To make sure that recreational opportunities in Silver Valley continue to be taken into account when decisions are made
  • To protect our parks
  • To work closely with other concerned communiety groups, and to explore common issues
  • To make Silver Valley a showcase for responsible, innovative, sustainable and liveable development--A complete community.
  • To encourage resident involvement and guardianship in all aspects of the Silver Valley Community
  • To ensure the voices  of all Silver Valley residents are heard
