• Consists of 2 sessions with an accredited Serena teacher-couple.
• Provides a basic understanding of human fertility.
• Teaches a couple the basic rules for following the Sympto-Thermal method and interpreting the data.
• The fee charged consists of a one-time registration fee, and the cost of course materials.

The Sympto-Thermal method can be successfully used even by those with irregular cycles or those going through different phases of life. Commitment by both husband and wife to be educated in the method and to participate together increases its successfulness in achieving the couple's goals. Consulting with an accredited teacher-couple when difficult situations or changes in life arise is encouraged and increases the confidence of the couple.

Session 1

Session 1 imparts the bulk of basic knowledge of the method. Ideally, a couple should come away from Session 1 being able to start charting. Session 1 covers anatomy, physiology, observation techniques, charting, and basic chart interpretation.

Session 2

Session 2 is a private meeting with your teacher-couple, usually 6 - 8 weeks after Session 1. Your teacher-couple will go over your charts with you and review rules of interpretation as needed. In certain circumstances, a learning couple may be introduced to exception rules which may apply to their particular circumstances. If a couple is having difficulties, more meetings can be arranged. Session 2 is an essential step to successful use of the method.

Follow-Ups

Additional consultations with your teacher-couple in person or by other means can be provided as needed and are encouraged. There is no charge for further education - only for materials as required.
