Registering for an account with the Vancouver CommunityNet

VCN now gives graphical PPP accounts by default. Here are the steps to get an account:

  1. Read the user agreement.
  2. Register online as a person or a non-profit organization.
  3. Obtain a copy of the paper registration (a document that says you have read and agree to abide by the VCN user agreement).
  4. For security reasons VCN now requires identification to create an account for you. You must either:
    • Come down to our offices with your picture ID.
    • Send a friend down to our offices with your picture ID.
    • Mail in a pre-printed cheque with your name on it
      (the cheque may be voided if you do not wish to make a donation).
  5. Fill out the paper registration and deliver it (with your donation) to:
    Vancouver Community Network
    411 Dunsmuir St.
    Vancouver, B.C. V6B 1X4
