This successful exhibit culminated in a dinner of over 100 people, with Arabs and Jews equally represented, at the Jewish Community Center.

Sponsored by the Jewish Palestinian Living Room Dialogue Group of San Mateo County, California, celebrating 97 meetings and nearly eight years, helping to change strangers into friends, "enemies" into partners, to invigorate the public peace process here and overseas.

In its opening exhibition in Vancouver, the Quilt had constant visitors, and was warmly supported by both the Jewish and Arab communities. The show culminated in a sold out dinner for 110 people of Middle Eastern food and a concert of Jewish and Arab music with emphasis on the musical connections between the two cultures.
