State Deputy, Wil Wilmot: Wil became a member of the Knights of Columbus with Council 1256 in Victoria January, 1989 and in July 1989 was elected as Deputy Grand Knight. The subsequent year he served the Council as Grand Knight. In 1991 employment caused a re-location to Montreal and a transfer to Council 6096, Pointe Claire; serving that Council as a Trustee. On return to Victoria in 1993 Wil transferred membership to Langford council 8394 and has served that Council as Chancellor and Grand Knight as well as membership and council directors. He also was the Council’s newsletter editor for seven years. In 1999 Wil was selected by State Deputy Joseph Fowlie as “Grand Knight of the Year” and was asked to become District Deputy in District #1 and following three years as DD#1 served the State Council as Family Director (2 years) and Program Director (1 year). Wil was elected to the Office of State Warden in 2005 and has continued as a member of the State Executive as serving as State Advocate (1 term), State Treasurer (2 terms) and finally as State Secretary for two terms.

State Chaplain, Most Reverend, Richard Gagnon: Richard Gagnon was ordained to the priesthood at Holy Rosary Cathedral on June 24, 1983, the Feast of St. John the Baptist, by Archbishop James Carney. The following month he became assistant pastor at St. Mary's Parish in Vancouver and also directed the Religious Studies program at Notre Dame Regional Secondary School until 1991. In 1984 he was appointed Assistant Pastor at Corpus Christi Parish, and two years later, Pastor of St. Jude's Parish in Vancouver. In 1987 he became the Chaplain of VANSPEC, which provides a religious education program for handicapped children. The following year he became a member of the Presbyteral Council of the Archdiocese of Vancouver. On January 1, 1986, Msgr. Gagnon was appointed Archdiocesan Spiritual Advisor of the Catholic Women's League, and served until 1992 when he was appointed to the Provincial Council of the Catholic Women’s League. In 1992 he became Director of the Office of Religious Education, and the next year was appointed founding pastor of St. James Parish in Abbotsford and Dean of the Fraser Valley East Deanery. He became the Archbishop's representative to St. John Brebeuf Regional Secondary School in Abbotsford in 1995, and in 1999 he was appointed Administrator of the new St. Nicholas Parish in Langley. Bishop Gagnon was appointed Vicar General for the Archdiocese of Vancouver in 2002 by Archbishop Adam Exner, OMI, after the departure of Msgr. David Monroe, who was appointed Bishop of Kamloops. He also sat on the Boards of the St. Joseph's Society and St. Mark's College and served on the Advisory Board for Redeemer Pacific College. In February 2003, Pope John Paul II named Father Gagnon a Prelate of Honour, in recognition of his faithful service to the Church and exemplary performance of his duties. At his investiture ceremony Archbishop Exner recognized that Msgr. Gagnon had "rendered outstanding distinguished service in the Church in Vancouver as a loving, effective, and dedicated pastor, a man who is ever ready to meet new challenges – a servant ready to go wherever called." On May 14, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed Richard Joseph Gagnon as the 16th Bishop of the Diocese of Victoria, Vancouver Island. Bishop Gagnon was formally Consecrated and Installed at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Victoria, on July 20, 2004. Bishop Richard Gagnon chose as the motto for his Coat of Arms, “To obey is to serve in love”. Bishop Richard Gagnon was recommended by State Deputy Michael Yeo and appointed by Archbishop Michael J. Miller on July 1, 2010 to succeed Bishop David Monroe as State Chaplain.

State Secretary, Ed Shawchuk, MS (Tax), CGA: Edward became a member of Council 4949 of the Knights of Columbus in Vernon in December 1978. As District Deputy, Edward earned Star District in three consecutive terms from 2001 to 2004 and has been recognized as the BC/Yukon District Deputy of the Year and the BC/Yukon Faithful Navigator of the Year. He also served the State Council as State Membership Director from 2005 to 2009 working to help earn Circle of Honour in each of his last two years. Edward was elected State Warden in 2007, State Advocate in 2008 and State Treasurer in 2009 and 2010. Edward is a Knight Commander in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting with Honours from BCIT and a Masters Degree in US Taxation from Golden Gate University. Edward is a CGA and is currently a Senior Manager in the US Tax Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Vancouver.

State Treasurer, Arcie Lim: Arcie J. Lim joined the Knights in 1982 as a member of Council 4615. He subsequently transferred to St. Joseph Council 9479 where he served as Financial Secretary and Grand Knight and was instrumental in achieving the council's first STAR Council Award. He served as District Deputy from 2002 - 2004 and earned Star District for both years. After his term as DD, he was appointed as State New Council Development Director and served for three years. He was elected as State Warden in 2008 and has served two terms as State Advocate. He is presently a member of St. Anthony of Padua Council 14925. Arcie also served as Faithful Navigator of Simon Fraser Assembly 0029 and became the chartered Faithful Navigator of St. Lorenzo Ruiz Assembly. He was honored on separate occasions by both his Council and Assembly as Family of the Year. Arcie is an Accountant by profession and is vary active and involved in various movements and committees in his parish, school, local community and Archdiocesan activities.

State Advocate, Peter Horsfield Peter Joined the Knights of Columbus, Star of the Sea Council 7015, in White Rock, in 1994. His first Council Executive position was Warden in 1997 and served as Grand Knight for 3 consecutive terms, 2000 – 2003. He was asked, and served as District Deputy for District 22 from 2003 to 2006. In 2007 he moved to Parksville and transferred to Council 7991, Ascension in Parksville serving as Warden for 1 year and then Deputy Grand Knight for 2 years from 2009 to 2011. Peter was the State Charity Appeal Chairman for the 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 campaigns. He is a 4th. degree Knight and is currently a member of Msgr. Albury Assembly 2006 on Vancouver Island. Peter held the position of 1st. year Trustee. Peter has been active in Parish activities as a lector, usher, Parish Pastoral Council Vice-Chairman and a member of the Ascension Parish Fund Raising Committee.

State Warden, Michael Gernat: Michael Gernat joined the Knights of Columbus, St. James Council 4949 in Vernon in 1994. He has served his Council in many Executive capacities and was named Knight of the Year in 2004, Family of the Year in 1998 and was selected Grand Knight of the Year for 2004 by State Deputy, Terry Kidwell. He received many Program Awards while serving at the Council level including Youth, Church, Council, and was also awarded Star Council during his tenure. He has served the State Executive as District Deputy #11 from 2004-07 and again for 2010-11. He achieved Star District in 2004-05. He also served as State Program Director 2007-09. Michael is a member of St. James Parish where he serves as Eucharistic Minister, Chair of the Maintenance Committee, and bus driver for the seniors of the Parish. Michael and his wife own and operate a business in the Okanagan and have two adult children

Immediate Past State Deputy, Michael Yeo: Michael Yeo joined the Knights of Columbus in 1993. He served as Treasurer, Deputy Grand Knight, Grand Knight and under his leadership, he was able to build Coquitlam Council #5540 into a strong and vibrant group. Michael was appointed to serve the British Columbia and Yukon State Council as State Family Life Director. Consequently, he was elected to the offices of State Warden, State Advocate, State Treasurer, State Secretary and has served two term as State Deputy. He also served the State Council as State Public Relations and Communication Director, State Bulletin Editor and State Bursaries Chairman. Currently, he is the President of the Canadian Association of Knights of Columbus. Michael is current serving as the State Ceremonials & Protocol Chairman.
