Blood Donation Campaign December 10th & 11th, 2011

          Our council had just completed our second year Blood Donation Campaign. This year, the campaign was headed by our Trustee 2 Brother Albert Lee and assisted by our Treasurer Brother Keon Kwan, Youth Director Brother Michael Ng, Membership Director Brother Wilson Man, Vocations Director Brother Lewis Wong, Brother Bobby Cheng and Brothers that I may have missed.

          For the two days campaign, we had a total of thirty-eight parishioners and fellow Knights of Columbus Brothers signing up as Blood Donors. Only twenty-five donors actually passed the test and donated blood. There was no serious incident on the part of Blood Donors. The whole campaign was considered a success.

          We had surprisingly more young parishioners supporting this campaign than before. This is regarded a good sign that the Blood Donation gesture is well received in our parish.
