Holy Rosary Cathedral Council 14652 has arranged this Special Seminar with
Supreme Council Membership and Program Consultant Brother Dan O'Hara.
The topic is 'Council Officer Roles and Responsibilities'.

This is a useful seminar for all Council Officers. After this seminar, all
should have a good understanding of what are their roles and
responsibilities within the council. Please invite all your Officers and
Directors to attend this seminar.
It is open to all the Council Members as well, should they want to better
understand how the council run's and it's protocols.
Brother Dan O'Hara was the State Deputy in BC & Yukon for the years 2005 -
2007.
He has a very busy schedule and helps all the councils across Canada.
We have a hard time reserving a spot with him, so please take this
opportunity to learn more about the Knights of Columbus and the operations
of your Council.

Come and meet the “Man of the Shroud”

 

 

Beginning on Monday, March 26, 2012, and running through Saturday, March 31rst, 2012, Immaculate Conception Church in Delta will be hosting the Man of the Shroud Exhibition. The event is made possible through the Vancouver Shroud Association.

We  invite you to take advantage of the opportunity to view a full-sized photographic replica of the Shroud of Turin which is thought by many to be the image of Christ in the authentic burial cloth of Jesus. Museum boards explain the art, history and science pertaining to the shroud.

 Renowned, international U.S. Shroud Scholar, Barrie Schwortz, (editor of www.shroud.com.), will also provide a live, inter-active presentation. It is recommended that groups allow themselves one hour for the presentation and one-half hour to tour the exhibit.

The presentation schedule for weekday class visits is attached. Interested groups should book immediately to ensure a spot. Please also note that the Vancouver Shroud Association does not permit backpacks and cameras in the exhibit.
