Please mark your calendars for the Joint Council Golf Tournament now scheduled to take place at Country Meadows Golf Course in Richmond, for Saturday, May 25, 2013. The first golf teams will tee off at 10am. There will be a catered BBQ Dinner at Country Meadows soon after the tournament (approx. 4.45pm). Please publish this notice in all your church bulletins and websites and solicit sign-ups from your parish. This tournament is open to all brother knights and their families and friends as well as all parishioners. Non-golfers are welcome to join us for dinner.

Please see attached GK letter and golf registration form to circulate to your council and golfers.

BC & Yukon State Golf Tournament 2013

The Knights of Columbus District 7 (BC & Yukon), Port Coquitlam Council 9125 Golf Committee on behalf of the BC & Yukon State Jurisdiction invite you, members of your Councils, their families and friends to the tournament which will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Golden Eagle Golf Club located at 21770 Ladner Road, Pitt Meadows, BC.  604 460-1111.  www.goldeneaglegolfclub.com

This tournament will be followed by a catered buffet dinner at the Assumption Centre (next to Our Lady of the Assumption Church), 3141 Shaughnessey St., Port Coquitlam, BC (maps on the reverse).  The prizes will be awarded at the end of the meal.

This will be a “fun” tournament with both experienced and inexperienced golfers encouraged to participate.  We are playing the Texas Scramble Best Ball style with a foursome team format.  Prizes will be awarded after the dinner.

Please promote the event in your council bulletin and at your next General Meeting, and have your phoning committee include reminders in its calls.  You can make copies of the attached Registration Form that has all the details.

The Annual Knights of Columbus Council 3478 Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Cheam Golf Course, 44610 Luckakuck Way, Chilliwack BC. The first tee-off will be at 10:00am; 

Entry fee will be $46.00 for members and their families and $51.00 for non-member guests, which will include green fees, a burger, one free chance in the putting contest and a chance to win numerous prizes. 

Due to golf course limitations, and meal and prize arrangements, registrations will be limited to 48 golfers, so please register early to avoid disappointment.

Golfers must register by Thursday August 22, 2013.
