Astăvakra saidHe who realized that change
in the form of existence, and destruction
is in the nature of things, unperturbed,
free from pain easily finds rest. 11.1He who knows that The Self is the Creator
and that there is none else here,
is not attached to anything and
with desires gone from within; is set at peace. 11.2He who knows for certain that adversity and
prosperity come in their own time through
action and reaction of our actions, then
is ever contented, has all his senses under control
and neither desires nor grieves. 11.3Happiness and misery, beginning and end
are just the effects of actions and nothing more,
he who knows it for certain, find nothing
to accomplish and free from care
is not attached even though engaged in action. 11.4He who has realized that it is care and nothing
else that breeds misery in this world,
becomes free from it, and is happy, peaceful
and every where rid of desires 11.5I am not the body nor is the body mine,
I am consciousness itself, him/her whom has
realized this the state of absoluteness attain,
and is not worry about what is done or not. 11.6"I am in all things,
From Brahma to a blade of grass."
When you know this,
You have no thought
For success or failure
Or the mind's inconstancy. 11.7That one who knows for certain that
this manifold and wonderful universe
is superimpose, finds peace within as
