Janaka said:First I became intolerant of physical action,

The Self not being an object of perception,
my mind is freed from distraction and one-pointed.

and concentration activity is required,
seeing this to be the rule, I thus abide. 12.3Having nothing to accept and nothing to reject,
having neither joy nor sorrow
ho! my lord, thus I do abide. 12.4What is there If I observe or neglect
the four stages of life?
meditation,
controlling the mind,
these are mere distractions!
and thus I abide. 12.5Abstention from action is as much the
outcome of ignorance, as is the performance of action.
Knowing fully well this truth, thus I do abide. 12.6To think on the Unthinkable One,
a form of thought is require.
given up even on that thought,
thus certainly I abide. 12.7That one who has accomplished this ,
who is such by nature,
