                      Boundless Ocean

Janaka said:

In the boundless ocean in me,
the ark of the universe is impelled by
the wind of its own nature.
but me, the ocean is not perturbed. 7.1

In the limitless ocean in me,
the waves of the world rise and/or
vanish of itself.
but me the ocean, neither increase or decrease. 7.2

In me, the boundless ocean,
the universe called imagination takes place,
but I remain highly tranquil, formless
and like that abide in. 7.3

The Self is not in the object,
nor is the object in the Self which is
infinite and stainless.
Thus It is free from attachment and desire
tranquil It is, in this alone I do abide. 7.4

Ho! Consciousness itself I am,
the world is like a juggler's show,
how then can be any thought
of the rejectable and the acceptable. 7.5
