*** CRTC Community TV Policy Review ***
The CRTC has posted almost 3,000 comments and interventions on the community channel review, Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-661. The last major review was CRTC 2002-61 seven years ago.
This review will set community television policy for the next several years, particularly in managing the BDU levy of $116 million annually. The CRTC hearing is scheduled for April in Gatineau, QC.
