CRTC Community TV Policy Review ***
The CRTC is holding a
hearing in April, 2010, on Canada's community television policy
framework:
Broadcasting
Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-661.
The last major review was CRTC
2002-61 seven years ago. Deadline for submissions is February 1,
2010.
This review will set community television policy for the next several
years, particularly in managing the BDU levy of $116 million
annually.
