Political passions and sexual identity are delicately intertwined in this bittersweet tale of stolen youth in Tarragon Theatre's production of Léo, by Rosa Laborde, being presented at the Firehall Arts Centre, 280 E.Cordova Street February 20 – March 1st.
Set in Salvador Allende's Chile, Léo follows the path of three friends who journey from innocence to understanding as they learn what it means to truly "disappear"; Rodrigo (Sergio Di Zio), the idealistic aspiring politician’ Léo (Salvatore Antonio), the passionate young poet; and Isolda (Lesley Faulkner), a young woman adrift in her own life.
