Volunteer Welcome Letter

Dear Volunteer,

Welcome to the Family Education and Support Centre.  As you may know, our Centre has served, and continues to serve, the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows since 1971, providing families with education, support and help in developing skills and making important life decisions.  We work with immigrants, children, parents and young people and we are a respected family resource in this community.

As a volunteer, you will be helping us meet our mission, vision and goals.  Thank you for your time and commitment.  You will, I am sure, benefit from your experience with us.

This Volunteer Handbook will answer some of the questions you may have and of course, staff will always be on hand to help you with your very valuable work.
