The Thirty Top Picks

Elektra Women's Choir is delighted to bring you information and commentary on thirty of our favorite Canadian pieces for women's voices. We hope you and your choir will find something to give you and your audiences new challenges and enjoyment.  We believe there is music here for every women's choir - sacred, secular, accompanied, a cappella, Christmas music, lullabies, folk songs, the avant garde and the simple.  Where possible, we have included score excerpts and sound bytes of Elektra performing this music.  Links to composers and publishers should also be of help.  Of course, in choosing our "thirty top picks", we have reluctantly left out many other fine pieces. We hope you will use this resource as a starting point in your journey of discovery of Canada's excellent choral music.

Elektra Women's Choir would like to thank the Vancouver Foundation for their support of "Thirty Top Picks".
