Canada Passport Office
Provides information on application for a Canadian passport, and other relevant information.

Human Resources Development Canada
Human Resources Development Canada deals with employment, career and labour issues. They operate the National Job Bank, the Electronic  Labour Exchange and provide labour market information. The HRDC web site also provides information on Employment Insurance, Income Security Programs and Social Insurance Numbers.

Canada Customs and Revenue Agency
Income tax information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for individuals, corporate, charities, non-profit organizations doing their income taxes.

Chinese Governments

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government 
This site is the official government information site for Hong Kong SAR. It addresses questions related to travelling in Hong Kong, permanent residency in Hong Kong as well as links to other government departments in Hong Kong.

Republic of China Government Infromation Office 
The official government website for the Republic of China (Taiwan). The site links to the Republic of China National Yearbook, containing the latest information on government, finance, the economy, arts, literature, foreign relations, technology and sceince and its people.

Consulate Offices

Consulates provide services such as passport renewal and VISA application to people outside their own country. The Consulate offices for both People's Republic of China and Taiwan are available in Vancouver, and their addresses are as shown below :
